Four people are arrested, after police seized $86,394 worth of marijuana in Windsor’s east end.

According to Windsor police, officers simultaneously stopped two suspected vehicles on Jan. 31 around 1:15 p.m. A white Yukon Denali was stopped in the area of Wyandotte Street East and Prado Place. A blue Dodge Journey was stopped in the area of Tecumseh Road East and Pillette Avenue.

Police say a cardboard box within the Yukon contained 19lbs of marijuana and 54.4g of marijuana placed in sandwich bags inside the Journey.

The driver of the Yukon and all three males in the Journey are charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.

The four have been released on a promise to appear in court.
