Windsor police are looking for a suspect after a knifepoint robbery at a Tecumseh Road pharmacy.

Officers were called to a pharmacy in the 5400 block of Tecumseh Road East on Thursday at 5 p.m.

Investigation revealed that the suspect entered the store with his identity concealed. 

Police say the suspect jumped the front counter and demanded money and prescription drugs, while holding a knife. 

He quickly left the store with a quantity of prescription drugs and money.  Police attended the scene, but were unable to locate the suspect. 

There were no injuries sustained in relation to this incident.

The suspect is described as a man, 5'11”, wearing a wool hat, jacket, black pants and carrying a black backpack.
