Windsor police are looking for a male suspect after a 23-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted outside a Windsor bar.

Officers were called to the Lions Head Tavern in the 7800 block of Wyandotte Street East at 10:45 p.m. on Sunday.

When police arrived, they spoke to a 23-year-old female victim, who advised that she was assaulted by an unknown male.

Officers searched the area but didn't locate the suspect.

She told police that she was involved in an argument with an unknown male just outside the establishment, which quickly escalated into a physical confrontation where punches were exchanged.

Police say she stated after the initial confrontation, the male suspect continued assaulting her and pulled her across the patio by her hair.

The victim sustained bruising to the face and abrasions on her legs, according to police.

The suspect is described as a white man, 5'8”, about 40 years old, with a regular build and short dark hair. He was wearing a grey T-shirt and blue jeans.
