Windsor police are looking for a suspect after a 32-year-old man was stabbed in east Windsor.

Officers were called to the 6700 block of Roseville Garden Drive around 11:30 p.m. Thursday for a report of a male that had possibly been stabbed.

Upon arrival, paramedics were on scene treating a 32-year-old man who had a 15 to 20 centimetre cut across the left side of his chest.

Police say they found the complainant, who said he saw the victim stumble on the sidewalk and then collapse on his front lawn. The complainant went to the victim, saw the injury and had his wife call 911.

The victim told police he was walking from Jefferson Boulevard on Roseville Gardens Drive. He crossed paths with another male and the two exchanged words. They had a fight and the victim says he began to feel severe pain in his chest. He realized he had been cut really bad and he walked away.
