Chatham-Kent police are searching for a suspect wanted in an attempted robbery.
Police were called to a residence on Minnie Streeet in Wallaceburg early Saturday.
They say a male attempted to steal a guitar from the property.
A female visiting the residence screamed at him and attempted to grab the guitar from the suspect.
Police say she was pushed down to the ground and struck in the arm. Her friend came to her assistance and they were able to fight off the suspect, while pulling a sweater off of him. He was not able to steal any property.
While police searched for the man with a K-9 unit, they were unable to locate him.
