A 26-year-old cyclist is in critical condition after getting struck by a minivan in Amherstburg.
Amherstburg police responded to the crash around 5:30 a.m.
Police identified the man as Richard Orum Jr. of Amherstburg.
Officers say he was riding his bike east on Alma Street in the area of the 4th Concession South, when he was struck from behind by an eastbound minivan.
An investigation is continuing
