The owner of two dogs, OPP say killed a Chihuahua last week, has since come forward.

Provincial police say the owner of the two dogs came forward on Sunday, after officials sought to speak with the woman on Friday. It’s unclear what actions, in any, will be levied against the owner or the dogs.

Officers were called to the Maidstone Conservation Area, located at 1561 Lakeshore Road 206 on April 20 around 1 p.m.

The owner of the Chihuahua was walking it in the conservation area, when police say it was attacked by two large dogs – resulting in the Chihuahua’s death.
