OPP are urging motorists to drive with extreme caution Sunday, as weather and road continue to deteriorate.
Chatham-Kent officers are responding to a collision involving a jackknifed tractor trailer in the eastbound lanes approximately three kilometres east of Queens Line.
The collision is partially blocking traffic, however traffic is getting by at this time.
Chatham-Kent OPP is responding to several vehicles in the ditch on Highway 401 and Lambton and Middlesex OPP have responded to numerous calls along the 402 as well.
Due to the snow and blowing snow, Highway 401 is experiencing poor visibility with white-out conditions, and the roadways are very slippery.
Police are urging the public to avoid unnecessary travel, if possible.
