It’s municipal election day in Ontario.

Polls were open across the province at 10 a.m. and are to remain open until 8 p.m.

Voters will choose a mayor, councillor for their ward and school board trustees.

To vote, bring your voting card and a piece of ID to your voting station.

If you do not have a card or are unsure of where to go, visit the city’s website at http://www.citywindsor.ca or call 519-255-6211.

Voters in Windsor will cast a ballot for a new mayor after Eddie Francis, who served as mayor for four terms announced he would not seek re-election.
