Provincial police say an Ohio man has been charged after being caught watching a video while driving on the Highway 401.

According to Chatham-Kent OPP, an officer conducting radar enforcement on the 401 on Thursday around 7 p.m., near Charing Cross Road, when a Dodge Challenger was clocked travelling at a high rate of speed.

When the vehicle was stopped, police say a video was being played on an entertainment device that was mounted to the windshield in front of the driver.

Mohammed Alharbi, 24, of Toledo, Ohio, has been charged with careless driving.
