A training exercise with up to 100 municipal and provincial emergency response personnel is taking place at the former GM Transmission Plant this week.
Tents, emergency equipment and vehicles will be seen on the grounds from Tuesday morning until Thursday afternoon.
This mock emergency will involve the provincial Heavy Urban Search and Rescue unit, OPP, Fire Marshal’s Office, Windsor fire and EMS crews.
Officials say there is no danger or impact to residents. The exercise will be contained to the former GM plant site.
