OPP have arrested one suspect and are searching for another after a Canadian Tire was broken into in Essex County.

Police responded to an alarm call at the store located on Essex County Road 8 shortly after 1:00 a.m. Thursday.

According to police two males were found hiding in a storage container at the back of the property. One was arrested on scene while the other fled on foot.

As a result a 29-year-old man from Windsor has been charged with break and enter with the intent to commit an indictable offence.

Police are searching for the second suspect and ask any witnesses to contact them at 519-738-3796.

A description of the suspect at large has not been released.
