A second pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in Windsor on Friday.

Windsor police say a 17-year-old man has been sent to a Detroit hospital after being struck at Tecumseh Road West and Huron Church Road just after 5:30 p.m. Friday.

He is listed in critical condition.

The man was the second pedestrian to be hit by a vehicle in Windsor on the same day.

A man died after being hit by a vehicle just after 1:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Goyeau and Elliott.

Windsor fire crews were first on scene and firefighters immediately began CPR.

Essex-Windsor EMS arrived within minutes and rushed the victim to hospital but the victim eventually succumbed to his injuries.

Police are asking for witnesses to come forward.
