Police are investigating a shooting in west Windsor.

Police say a 22-year-old man suffered minor injuries after the shooting near Felix Avenue and Mill Street on Sunday around 12:10 a.m.

Officers arrived and spoke to the man and learned the incident took place a short distance away

He told police that he was walking through an alleyway in the area of the 600 block of Mill Street when a dark-coloured vehicle pulled up next to him.  

There was a brief exchange of conversation with the passenger of the vehicle and the victim. 

The passenger then allegedly pointed a firearm at the victim and shot him in the hand.  

The victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries for treatment and released. 

Police say there are no suspects and the major crime branch is actively investigating.
