The Town of Essex will soon introduce its open air burn permits online.
Officials are encouraging residents to use the online process to notify the fire department.
Starting on Monday, Aug. 7, residents are asked to complete the online form found a the "burn permits" at essex.ca.
They hope residents will find the online method more convenient as the form is designed to work on all type of devices at any time of day.
