The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority is again urging people along the river to be careful of potential flooding.

Milder temperatures, a chance of rain and ice jams in the river are conditions which could contribute to flooding.

Conservation authority officials say flooding is possible near Lighthouse Cove.

The authority also believes water could spill over banks as early as Thursday because of ice jams.

They caution ditches are likely to be swollen - and people need to use extra care along slippery banks.
