One of Windsor’s most resilient mayoral candidates has released his vision for the city.

Ernie The Baconman is one of three candidates to file papers to run for the mayor’s seat in this fall’s municipal election. On Thursday, The Baconman unveiled an extensive plan on how he will improve the city if he becomes mayor.

His vision includes:

  • A guaranteed zero tax increase for four more years.
  • A new $5-billion casino – built with private money on Windsor’s waterfront, which includes a 10,000 seat concert hall and Cedar Point inspired amusement park.
  • If Children want to work, he will pay them up to $300 per week for selling banana bread and bags of pepperoni.
  • The Baconman will work with Ford to bring new products to plants, including a new Ford minivan.
  • He will work with the Ambassador Bridge to demolish derelict homes and construction a second span that will connect to E.C. Row Expressway – creating jobs in the process.
  • Bring the marijuana industry to Windsor.
  • Lower taxes for businesses.

The Baconman’s plan includes an extensive advertisement strategy on everything from public transit, to parking meters.

Joining The Baconman in the race to become mayor is Timothy Dugdale and Raymond Poisson.

Windsor’s municipal election takes place Oct. 27.
