Windsor police are investigating after a 38-year-old man was stabbed multiple times on Monday morning.

Officers were dispatched to an apartment located in the 300 block of University Avenue East for a report of a stabbing at 6:45 a.m.

The 38-year-old man was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

Investigation revealed that a number of people were in the apartment and the victim was involved in an altercation with another male which resulted in his injuries.  

Police believe that the people involved are known to each other.
