A Wallaceburg man is facing several charges after allegedly stealing chocolate eggs.
According to Chatham-Kent police, a man entered a No Frill’s grocery store Sunday — concealed two packages of chocolate eggs and left the store. An employee confronted the man, but was allegedly threatened.
About an hour later, police say a woman returned the $5 packages of eggs to the store.
A 40-year-old man was arrested Monday and charged with theft under $5,000, possession of property obtained by a crime under $5,000 and uttering threats.
