A 34-year-old Windsor man has been charged after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman.
Officers were dispatched to 770 Riverside Dr E on Monday at approximately 6 a.m.
A 22-year-old woman says she was walking in the area of the 600 block of University Avenue East at approximately midnight when she was approached by a man riding an e-bike.
The victim alleges that she was sexual assaulted during her interaction with the male.
On Wednesday around 11 a.m., police found a man matching the description in the area of Wyandotte Street East and Parent Avenue. The suspect was arrested after a brief struggle.
Police say he was also had a quantity of drugs and cash.
Jahton Blair, 34, from Windsor is charged with two counts of sexual assault, possession of crack cocaine for trafficking, possession of cocaine for trafficking, possession of ecstasy for trafficking, possession of marihuana for trafficking.
