Provincial police in Essex County are calling a house fire in Leamington suspicious.
The Essex County crime unit is currently investigating the blaze that started around 8 p.m. Monday night on Bayview Place.
The Leamington Fire Service extinguished the fire that originated in the bedroom of the residence. No one was at home at the time of the blaze and no injuries were reported.
The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office was contacted and is helping with the investigation.
