If you are looking for a way to beat the heat in LaSalle don't go to the town's outdoor pool.
According to the town's director of Culture and Recreation the pool at the corner of Laurier Drive and Front Road is closed until further notice.
The closure is a result of a broken propeller on the pool's water pump.
The town discovered the mechanical failure Saturday morning when they went to open the pool for the season.
It won't be a long-term closure though - the town says the pool could re-open as early as Thursday.
