An Oldcastle automotive supplier is holding a job fair on Saturday and is looking to hire up to 100 employees.
Lakeside Plastics Ltd. Has planned the job fair for Saturday, June 4 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Caboto Club, Windsor Hall at 2175 Parent Ave. in Windsor.
The company hopes the event will attract several new candidates for potential employment opportunities in the automotive manufacturing field.
Company officials say they are expanding their business footprint in Windsor and the surrounding areas.
They have openings in the fields of: production associates (assembly), skilled trades, processors, setup technicians, electricians, plc specialists, millwrights, IT specialists, inventory analysts, warehouse supervisors, material coordinators, quality engineers, program managers, cost estimating manager, senior cost estimators, manufacturing engineers, plant supervision, and team leaders.
For the second year in a row, Lakeside has achieved three major awards from General Motors: the Supplier Quality Excellence Award, Customer Care & Aftersales Platinum Award, and the “Supplier of The Year Award.”
