Windsor police are looking for a suspect after a knifepoint robbery at a convenience store on Ouellette Avenue.

Officers were called to the Mac's Convenience store in the 900 block of Ouellette Avenue around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police say a suspect entered the store, jumped over the counter while brandishing a knife and demanded cash.

The suspect quickly left the store with a small quantity of money and was last seen going northbound on Ouellette Avenue. 

There were no injuries. 

The suspect is described as a black male, 5'9, with a medium build. He was wearing a black sweater with Adidas logo on the front and Adidas written across the back. He had a black toque pulled to his eyebrows and a brown and yellow scarf covering his face, black framed eyeglasses, blue jeans and black boots.
