Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne is in Windsor today.

Wynne participated in a roundtable discussion at 11 a.m. with members of the Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association at Magna Closures.

Addressing the media after the discussions she talked about growing the auto industry and the role of the province's new auto czar, Ray Tanguay.

Many wanted to learn more about Ontario and Canada's recently appointed auto czar, Ray Tanguay.

"Today, the topic mostly was how do we help your auto advisor help our industry," says Flavio Volpe of the Auto Parts Manufacturing Association.

Tanguay was appointed last week to help advise both the province and the feds on how to attract and retain business in the auto sector.

Wynne says Tanguay will hopefully also advise how to streamline services and collaborate.

"With luck, the auto czar will be able to find those logjams, and help us to move those away," says Wynne.

But both Windsor's mayor and Economic Development CEO Sandra Pupatello say the incentives need to be better.

"Every company we've met with. One of the first questions they have is what's on the table, what incentives are on the table," says mayor Drew Dilkens.

"I'm telling you with certainty, they're not enough, there's no qualms about that. I've spent a lot of time in 2014 having that level of discussion at the highest levels in the country what those should look like based on my very recent experiences," says Pupatello.

Wynne also toured the Walkerville Brewery as part of Ontario Craft Beer Week.

He last scheduled stop is at the Greek Village as part of the Carrousel of Nation’s 40th anniversary.
