January has been a record breaking month for snowfall in Windsor-Essex.
According to Environment Canada senior climatologist David Phillips, there has been 86.6 cm of snowfall in the first month of 2014.
It beats the previous record set in January 1999, where 86.4 cm of snow fell on the area.
