Interest in medical marijuana operations appear to be growing in Essex County.
Lakeshore council has given the go ahead for a proposed operation on Manning road - not far from the OPP station.
Mayor Tom Bain says the proponents are just waiting for approval from the Ontario Medical Association.
Bain says it's just like any other crop and the operation adheres to local bylaws.
This comes a day after Tecumseh council passed a report on a similar facility in Oldcastle.
The town is scheduling a public meeting for Dec. 10.
