Windsor police say they are looking for information after several hunting firearms and a safe containing money was stolen.

Officers were called to a house in the 1500 block of Dougall Avenue on Monday at 3:15 p.m. for a report of a break and enter.

The complainant told police the break in occurred sometime between 12:30p.m and approximately 3p.m. while he was away.

Investigation revealed that the suspects forced open the rear door and stole a number of items from the home, say police.

The homeowner showed officers drag marks carved into the wooden floor and said that his gun locker containing several hunting firearms was missing. A second safe containing money and personal family identification was also taken.
