Provincial police have reopened a section of the Highway 401 after a tractor trailer crash halted westbound traffic.
OPP were called the highway, just east of the roundabout on Tuesday, around 7:30 a.m. Officials say the tractor trailer was travelling west, when the driver lost control and struck a guardrail. The truck's fuel tank was damaged.
Highway 401 was closed at Provincial Road, while the Ministry of Transportation examined the vehicle during clean-up.
A 26-year-old Cambridge man has been charged with careless driving,.
