A Kingsville beach is closed for a second consecutive week.
Bacteria testing conducted earlier this week by the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit at Lakeside Beach came back with an E.coli count over 1,000. As a result officials have closed the beach, due to potential health hazards.
Swimming is also not recommended at five other beaches. This includes Cedar Island Beach, Colchester Beach, Sandpoint Beach, Seacliff Beach, and West Belle River Beach.
The health unit says swimming at Hillman Marsh Beach, Holiday Beach and Northwest Beach is safe.
