Chatham-Kent police are investigating a single vehicle collision that left four people injured.

Around 2:15 p.m. Saturday afternoon, police attended Kimble Road near Wallaceburg for the crash.

A blue Volkswagen Golf was travelling southbound on Kimble Road when it crossed over beyond the oncoming lane of traffic and struck a bridge railing abutment head-on.

The driver, a 56-year-old man from Wallaceburg suffered critical injuries and was transported to a hospital in Windsor.

Two 12-year-old boys also suffered critical injuries and were transported to a hospital in London.

A 15-year-old boy suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a hospital in Chatham.

The investigation continues. Witnesses are asked to contact police.
