Windsor police say four people have been arrested after a 15-year-old male was found unconscious on Monday evening.

Officers were called to an apartment in the 1000 block of Marentette Avenue to assist EMS around 7:30 p.m. after reports a teen had been assaulted.

Police say the victim was found breathing but unresponsive, laying on the ground in an apartment unit, with obvious signs of swelling and bruising to his face and a bleeding nose.

He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit with a brain bleed and remains in serious condition in hospital.

Police have arrested four people in connection with the assault.

Two females, ages 15 and 16, and two males, ages 17 and 20 are all facing charges of aggravated assault.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and detectives are still interviewing witnesses and trying to determine the motive for the assault.
