Former Windsor Spitfire Ben Johnson testified in his own defence in a Windsor courtroom on Monday.

Johnson is accused of sexually assaulting a young woman in the washroom of a downtown bar, the Krooked Kilt, on Jan. 13, 2013.

In court, Johnson began to outline what he believes happened the night of the alleged incident.

Seven days have been put aside for the defence’s case.

The complainant took the stand in June. The case was then put over until today.

Ben Johnson, 21, is currently employed by the New Jersey Devils. He was 18 at time of the alleged incident.

His goal at that time was to sign contract with devils. To play in NHL, "it's been my dream since I was very young," he says.
