The flu outbreak is over at Windsor Regional Hospital.

In a letter to staff, hospital CEO David Musjy says there have been no new patient or staff cases.

This means the hospital is lifting the outbreak measures put in place, including reopening the 6 north unit in the hospital.

Staff no longer have to wear surgical masks and goggles when providing patient care.

But visitor restrictions that include not allowing children under the age of 14 to enter the hospital remain in effect until further notice.
