Five people are charged and several drugs were seized, following a bust at two Windsor residences.

Members of the Provincial Anti-Violence Intervention Strategy executed search warrants on Wednesday at two addresses – one in the 2100 block of Daytona Avenue and the other in the 1000 block of Hall Avenue.

According to police, officers arrested three suspects associated with the Daytona address leaving the Hall location around 4 p.m. Investigators say a search of the suspects turned up suspected ecstasy and cocaine.

Another two suspects found leaving the rear of the Hall residence were also arrested.

Police say a search of the home resulted in the seizure of 15.7 grams of marijuana, 180.3 grams of cannabis shake and $2,230. Nothing was found at the Daytona residence.

Police have charged:

  • A 30-year-old Windsor man is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, unlawful possession of cocaine, breach of probation and disqualified operation of a motor vehicle.
  • A 25-year-old Windsor man is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of MDMA for the purpose of trafficking.
  • A 30-year-old Windsor woman is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and breach of probation.
  • A 25-year-old Windsor man is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, unlawfully possess cannabis marijuana, possession of cannabis marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, and fail to comply with condition of release.
  • A 43-year-old Windsor woman is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, unlawfully possess cannabis marijuana, possession of cannabis marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
