Lakeshore fire officials say arson was the cause of a fire at a house under construction.
The Lakeshore Fire Department responded to the blaze in the 300 block of Letino Drive around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Chief Don Williamson says fire crews arrived to a fully involved structure with a neighbouring home damaged by the radiant heat.
The new home construction was valued at $200,000. The house sold to a Toronto family and was about three to four weeks from completion.
Williamson says there were no injuries.
Essex County OPP are investigating.
