Financial loss, low enrollment causes Windsor's YMCA to close pool

Some people will have to find a new place to swim come late April, as Windsor’s YMCA gets set to close their pool.

According to officials with the Y, the pool will be permanently closed on April 27, at 6:30 p.m. Members were alerted to the closure Wednesday, after staff posted signs within the facility.

The closure of the pool comes after a steady decline of users and a $400,000 financial loss last year.
