The University of Windsor is hoping local families can help make the Thanksgiving holiday special for students far from home.
Each year the university hooks up international students with local families to break-bread over a turkey dinner. Unfortunately, only 12 families have so far signed up and there are more than 100 students without plans.
If you have room for an extra setting, the university would like to hear from you. An application for Host for the Holidays can be found on the university’s website.
