Chatham-Kent police have arrested a 32-year-old Chatham man after a social media conversation on Tuesday.

Police say the man uttered a physical threat towards a former supervisor while talking with a co-worker on Facebook.

In November 2014, the man was hired by a company on Richmond Street. Before finishing his three-month probationary period, he was dismissed from employment.

Police were made aware of the comment and took the man into custody.

The man has been charged with uttering threats. He was released with conditions pending a future court date.
