Environment Canada is warning of blowing snow late Thursday afternoon in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.
In a special weather statement, Environment Canada says an approaching frontal system from Northwestern Ontario will produce strong winds and snow.
Snowfall is expected Thursday evening and will diminish Friday morning.
The weather agency says blowing and drifting snow are potential hazards associated with this system.
