Windsor police have been cracking down on speeders on E.C. Row Expressway.

Members of the traffic enforcement unit conducted two traffic enforcement Initiatives targeting speed management and aggressive driving on E.C. Row.

In total, officers issued a total of 105 tickets and 31 warnings.

The first initiative took place on Tuesday between 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. 

The second initiative took place on Thursday between 9:15 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The Traffic initiatives were planned events and were part of the Windsor Police Services ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of the travelling public. 

Coincidentally, on the date the initiatives were conducted, the construction zones on E.C.Row had just been completed and removed.

Two offenders were charged with stunt driving. Police say a sport motorcyclist was travelling 176 kilometres per hour in a 100 km/h zone on Tuesday. 

The second offender operating a Ford Mustang was caught going 158 km/h in a 100 km/h zone.
