A 17-year-old Brampton male was arrested and police seized drugs and a sawed-off shotgun after raiding a Windsor motel room.

Members of the Provincial Anti-Violence Intervention Strategy were investigating a male with a gun in a motel room on Tuesday. Officers executed a search warrant early in the afternoon.

The teen was placed under arrest and seized a sawed-off shotgun and a small quantity of drugs that were found in the room.

He was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, two counts of breach of probation, possessing property obtained by crime and four firearm related charges.
