Chatham-Kent OPP say a 60-year-old Chatham man has succumbed to his injuries after a head-on collision with an ambulance.
Police were called to the crash at Highway 40 near Green Valley Line on Aug. 19 around 10:30 a.m.
A northbound Ford minivan collided with a southbound Chatham-Kent EMS Ambulance.
The driver, and lone occupant, of the minivan was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.
Police say as a result of the collision, the male driver, Geoffrey Brereton, 60, of Chatham, has succumbed to his injuries.
OPP technical traffic collision investigators are assisting with the investigation.
