A 30-year-old truck driver has been charged after a tractor trailer rollover on Highway 401 near Tilbury on Wednesday night.
Chatham-Kent OPP responded to the crash around 10:30 p.m. on Highway 401 near Dillion Road.
Investigation indicated that an eastbound tractor trailer, which was travelling in the construction zone, had rolled onto its side and came to rest in the ditch, partially blocking the eastbound passing lane.
The male driver of the transport truck was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
As a result of the collision, the 30-year-old male driver of Brampton has been charged with careless driving.
Police say Highway 401 eastbound will be closed for several hours Thursda to allow for the safe removal of the vehicle.
