Doors Open Windsor will show off dozens of the city’s finest architectural landmarks this weekend.

They began with 15 properties when they started the tour. This year, you can stop in at more than 40 locations across Windsor.

Cathy Lysack is looking forward to showing off the Harris House on Ypres Avenue. Much of the home's interior decor has been maintained for close to 70 years.

“People are curious and interested in design and history, so why not, have them enjoy it too,” says Lysack.

Doors Open will feature 10 new sites, along with past favourites. Organizers say it will be an eclectic mix of the new, the old and the re-purposed.  Stunning architecture, sacred spaces history, the arts, technology and even genealogy will all be part of your experience.

There will be guided street tours of several historic and architecturally significant neighbourhoods, presented by students from the St.Clair College School of Architectural Technology.
