Two dogs are safe after being rescued from a burning residence by Windsor firefighters.
A duplex on Riberdy Road caught fire about 4 p.m. Friday. Firefighter say it started on a wooden deck and continued up the back of the home.
Witnesses told CTV News that nobody was home at the time.
Damage is estimated at $40,000.
The cause has yet to be determined, but it is not deemed suspicious.
