Chatham-Kent OPP say a collision closed the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 just east of Chatham on Tuesday.
Chatham-Kent OPP closed the eastbound lanes of the 401 just east just east of Communication Road after the crash.
Emergency crews were called to the scene around 1:25 p.m.
One occupant involved in the collision has been transported to hospital with unknown injuries.
This investigation is ongoing and police say charges are pending.
One lane of traffic had been re-opened shortly after 5 p.m., after all lanes were closed for several hours for the investigation and debris cleanup.
