There is an expanded recall of barbecue propane cylinders purchased at a Tecumseh Road East Canadian Tire.
The province's safety authority is interested in all tanks filled as far back as April 15. Previously, a May 13 date had been given.
The authority says tanks filled at the Canadian Tire store located at 8505 Tecumseh Road East may pose a risk to the public. The tanks may have been over-filled, which could cause venting of gases.
As before, the tanks should not be returned to the store.
People are being asked to call 1-800-387-8803 to have the tank picked up and properly disposed of by a trained professional.
