Expect more traffic delays this weekend, as the northbound lanes of Huron Church Road close near the Ambassador Bridge for road work.
Huron Church Road will close between College Avenue and Union on Friday at 9 p.m., as crews conduct road and track repairs. Last weekend the southbound lanes of the road were closed for the very same construction.
A detour will be in place for traffic approaching the bridge – detouring commuters off of Huron Church and onto College.
Construction is expected to wrap up by Sunday afternoon.
