Hundreds of families lined up at the unemployment help center in Windsor to take advantage of the annual Autumn "Coats for Kids" campaign.

Saturday marked the first day families in needs can collect new and gently used coats, hats, scarves and mittens donated by the public.

The campaign collected 6200 coats last year.

Organizers say there's still time to donate.

Donations can be dropped off at 6955 Cantelon Dr.
